THE SHORT VERSION

• This site sets no cookies. It writes nothing to your browser’s local storage, session storage or databases. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

HOW THAT WAS CHECKED

• Stated as a measurement rather than an intention, because an intention is not something you can verify and this is.
• On 24 September 2026 the server was asked for /, /about, /applications and /status, and sent no Set-Cookie header on any of them.
• The home page was then opened in a browser and left for nine seconds — long enough for the world to load and the entry flight to finish — and document.cookie, localStorage and sessionStorage were all empty. The sound control was clicked and they were still empty.
• You can repeat this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the storage or application panel, and look at this site’s entry.

WHAT THAT COSTS YOU

• Your sound preference is not remembered. Turn the sound on, come back tomorrow, and it starts silent again.
• Nothing else on this site has a preference to remember at this revision, so that is the whole cost.

IF THAT EVER CHANGES

• If this site ever needs to store something in your browser, this notice gets a new revision id that says what, why, and for how long — before the storing starts, not after.
• Optional analytics remains off, and there is no mechanism here to turn it on.
• The policy for honouring a browser’s privacy signal such as Global Privacy Control: [owner to confirm]. It has nothing to act on at this revision.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

• This notice covers the public site only. The staff console is a separate application behind a sign-in, with its own cookies.
• What the site collects on the server, and how long it is kept, is at /legal/privacy. A question about either goes to support@siasol.ai.
