How a demo works
WHAT A DEMO IS
- A demo is a time-limited, isolated copy of an application, with seeded data that is not real. Read what applies before asking for one.
- Nothing you do in a demo is kept. When it ends, everything in it is deleted; work does not persist and cannot be recovered.
YOU ASK
- The request goes to the platform, which decides whether a demo of this application can run for you right now. If it cannot, you are told why in words you can act on.
YOU MAY WAIT
- Demos share capacity, so an admitted request may sit in a queue. Your place and the estimated wait are shown while it does, and you can cancel without anything having been started.
THE PLATFORM PREPARES IT
- An isolated copy of the application is built, with seeded data that is not real. This has a deadline: if it is not running by then, the attempt is cleaned up rather than left half-made.
YOU USE IT
- The demo runs until its end time, which is shown from the moment it is known and counts down on its own page. Leaving it idle ends it sooner.
IT ENDS
- Access is withdrawn, the demo is shut down, and everything in it is deleted. Nothing you did is kept, and nothing can be recovered afterwards.
ASKING FOR ONE
- 2 applications in the catalogue can be demonstrated today. Each one's page states its own limits.
- Tell us which one on the contact page and we will arrange it.
